The Salesforce Beach project at Cannes Lions 2026 transformed a 400 m² outdoor space into a destination for talks, networking, client meetings and brand activations throughout the festival. The design was centred around creating a welcoming and creative environment that could comfortably support different types of experiences while maintaining a strong and consistent visual identity. A combination of natural materials, clean architectural forms and thoughtfully integrated branding gave the space a contemporary feel without overwhelming.

MirrorLab's scope was fabrication and on-site installation of the space, this project brought together design, technical planning and high-quality execution withing the short time of 4 days. The result is an outdoor event environment that balances aesthetics with practicality, creating a memorable setting that reflects the Salesforce brand while supporting the pace and energy of one of the world's leading creative festivals.

Project Scope
Pool-Inspired Canopy Structure
The main canopy structure was designed to resemble a real swimming pool through the use of custom printed linoleum flooring. A white-painted structural canopy incorporated integrated timber louvers and a stretched Sunbrella fabric shade roof, providing both solar protection and a refined architectural appearance. Two dimensional Salesforce logos were fixed to the canopy structure to reinforce brand visibility. The adjacent stage was fabricated from spray-painted MDF with a soft carpeted surface finish and featured a custom chrome ladder integrated into the platform, visually extending the pool concept. The overall installation combined durable scenic fabrication with high-quality architectural detailing to deliver a premium hospitality environment.

The Highlight: Debossed Wall Treatment
A premium debossed feature wall designed as a clean architectural backdrop, where graphics are recessed into the surface rather than raised, creating a refined 3D read through shadow and depth. Executed using a highly precise and technically demanding fabrication technique, the panels were produced from MDF and finished with a smooth white spray-applied finish lacquer, resulting in a seamless, gallery-grade surface. All lettering and icons were executed with a 20 mm deboss, with the recessed areas painted in Cloud Blue 80 to subtly enhance contrast.

Premium Branded Entrance Portal Design
The entrance portal combines natural materials with premium branded elements to create a welcoming arrival experience. Custom timber slat walls with integrated moss installation, a real tiles-effect backdrop with neon logo, a wooden slat awning with added light filtering material, dimensional Salesforce Beach signage and architectural details deliver a refined, contemporary aesthetic. The result is a premium entrance that balances functionality, brand presence and high-quality execution.
Interior Construction: Counters in Gradient and Artificial stone
A range of custom counters was developed as part of the build, combining complex materials and finishes. The main bodies were formed from fluted paintable MDF, which made the surface treatment particularly challenging due to the detailed grooves.
The gradient finish was carefully applied manually through layered spray painting rather than printed or wrapped, ensuring a smooth transition across the textured surface. Each unit was built on a white painted metal frame for stability, and finished with a 4 cm artificial stone countertop, resulting in an exclusive, refined look.
Interactive Telephone Wall
This architectural feature wall transforms a collection of custom-painted vintage telephones into an engaging brand experience. Built as a multilayer construction with recessed arched niches, the installation creates depth and a dynamic 3D effect, enhanced by its angled layout. The icons finished with premium dichroic film introduce subtle iridescent reflections that shift with changing light and viewing angles.
